Lexden Primary School is a caring and stimulating environment where creative learning inspires all children to achieve academic success and individual fulfilment.

The recent outstanding Ofsted inspection was a tremendous accolade which delighted the whole school community.
We work so hard to unlock the potential of every child and encourage them to achieve as highly as possible – it is a great tribute to our children that they have been praised for their exceptional behaviour and enthusiasm for learning.

Lexden Primary School is all the richer for the varied needs and abilities of all our children. They learn to respect, help each other and appreciate differencies; these values shine through in the report.

Monday 2nd November 2009, Photos from our school trip - more photos to come!

Emails from Alexander Candler :-

1. Hey all, (Monday 2nd November 2009)

We've all arrived safely and have got settled in. The beds have been made (which took a while) and we have all eaten well. This evening some of us have Go Karted while others created monstrosities out of giant Lego. Before bed we headed over to the campfire and sang songs under a clear sky.

  2. Hey all, (Tuesday 3rd November 2009)

The first full day is about to draw to an end, and the children are exhausted.  Over the space of a day they have thrown themselves off of towers, raced around the track, fired arrows with a style that would make Robin Hood jealous, and danced the funky chicken with the aid of Sing Star (a memory that I worry will never leave me).

The weather has been kind, with clear blue skies for most of the day.

All of the children are well feed and particularly enjoyed Grace's birthday cake.  Everyone sends their thanks to Mrs Morris.

See you all on Friday, Year 6

  3. Morning All, (Day 3)

Yesterday was another excellent day.  Both groups have scaled knew heights on the climbing wall, and plummeted to new depths in the Kingswood caves.  We have practiced our circus skills and designed and built space ships to carry a water balloon to the moon.  We had some time in the warm to create our own computer games and then returned outside to built shelters out of old tries and lengths of wood.

Everyone is having a wonderful time and the children are a credit to all.

Today we are heading to the beach so we all have our fingers crossed that the sun keeps shining.  Mrs Johnston is even threatening to get her swimming costume out.

See You all soon,
