This is your last full week of school and you will already be thinking ahead to next year and what to expect. If you are in Year 5, you will soon receive information from your next teacher before you come back in September about next year.
Your secondary school will make contact with you if you are currently in year 6 and you will have lots of exciting new adventures to have!
This week it is an opportunity to tell your new teacher/school all about you.
Year 5 Pupils
In this booklet, you will find lots of activities to help you reflect on who you are and what you love doing.
There are also some activities to help you revise some of the grammatical features of writing in preparation for Year 6. Don't worry if you can't do them all...there's plenty of time to learn!
Just have a go and work through the pack at your own pace.
Year 6 Pupils
In this booklet, you will find lots of activities to help you reflect on who you are and what you love doing. It is a time to reflect on your final year....albeit a strange one! And think about where you are heading.
Work through the booklet this week and think about your answers to the questions. You may like to look on your new school's website to find out the answers to some of these questions.
This booklet will also give you advice from how to get organised to making new friends.
What an exciting time!
I hope to see you next week at the Year 6 reunion day. I am looking forward to it and hope you can make it.
Don't forget to continue with Spelling Shed to help improve your spellings.
English learning for week beginning 20th July 2020.
This is hopefully our final few days of online learning! We look forward to seeing the children back in September :)
I have just provided some activities so that the children can practise their skills.
Mrs King's Maths group
I have added some more activities for practising key skills. I have left those from last week as well in case you didn't get through them all.
